Why do this course?
Stress is now the top cause of sickness at work, and mental heath problems are increasingly common. With the pressure of work, personal conflict or other factors, we need more than ever to develop emotional resilience. We need to learn to cope and flourish even in a busy and challenging world.
Mindfulness is proven to help. It reduces stress, improves productivity, and helps us get our life into balance again.
The purpose of this Foundation course is to introduce what mindfulness is, and to get you started with the core practices, to start using right away.
The real key to this making a difference is daily practice and integrating the core practices into your every day activities. Please read the notes about what you need to do to make this work effectively, and do keep a journal as writing things down strengthens the learning.
