Friday April 24th 6pm – Sun 26th 3pm, 2020 at Maitreya House Herefordshire

We can only achieve lasting happiness and satisfaction if we connect with the spacious quality of the innate mind  - connecting with this amazing gift of being alive and conscious now, rather than getting caught up in thoughts. Being able to do that means touching and recalling the direct experience of the calm mind. And it can be surprisingly easy to do.

This retreat is designed for meditation and mindfulness practitioners, both with relatively little experience as perhaps their first retreat experience, and will also suit seasoned practitioners who wish to deepen their practice.

Friday evening will be a time to settle in, set our aspirations, and get into a lower gear, including mindful sleep exercises.

Saturday will be the heart of the retreat, developing tranquillity in silence, through mindfulness of breathing, listening and slow movement. We will use various meditations to explore the experience of the calm, default mind state  - the timeless, formless, non-judging ground of experience. We will continue the practice, in a lighter way, on Sunday morning, eat lunch quietly, and then review and reflect on the retreat after lunch.

Simon will lead the retreat and guide the tone of what goes on, but everyone is there to share in this work, contribute as they can, and support each other.

Cost for accommodation, food and teaching will be £225. If you cannot afford this get in contact  - I don't want anyone to miss out. Secure your place with a £100 non-returnable deposit now.
